One very odd thing about a Holga lens, is the fact that focusing is done by screwing the lens in or out of the mount. If you unscrew completely you are left holding the lens. Then say if you hold the lens close to something and adjust the lens to object distance and the lens to camera distance until there is focus, voila close up lens. The results are unpredictable as you see.
